If you hadn’t heard of Ghyll Scrambling prior to coming to the Lake District, you are in for a treat! This is one of the most popular activities in the area and you are guaranteed to have fun and laughter throughout your session. Ghyll Scrambling (also known as Gorge Walking or Canyoning) is the ascent or descent of a mountain stream. Whether you are going up or downstream, you will be scrambling through natural rock formations, swimming and jumping into crystal clear pools of water, sliding down natural water slides and climbing up and over short rock steps. If you are feeling really adventurous, there are options to add a little abseiling into the mix. Whatever your level of ability or confidence, we can find the right ghyll for you. Take a minute to look through our list of options and please do send me a quick email if you would like to discuss the best choice for you.

I would like to say a huge thank you for the sunset canoe experience last Saturday!
I loved everything about it (its definitely one of my top fav moments!) Especially the trip back in the dark, it was serene and beautiful...even with the disco music in the background! Ha!!
I have already recommended it to sooo many people!
